Under the Patronage of the President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University: The University Celebrates the Completion of the ISO Project and Honors 20 Departments for Achieving the Institutional Quality Management Certification


Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amri, President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, the Deanship of Development and Quality held a closing ceremony to mark the completion of the ISO standards project as part of the University's 2025 strategic plan. The event also honored 20 departments across the University that have been awarded the Institutional Quality Management System certification (ISO 9001).

His Excellency the President emphasized in his speech during the ceremony, that the University's achievement of these certifications is a continuation of its efforts to foster a culture of quality and institutional excellence and to achieve operational efficiency across its various sectors. He pointed out that this milestone represents one of the key outcomes of the university's qualitative institutional transformation in line with its 2025 strategic vision, which aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 for advancing university performance.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kholoud Sandouqa, Dean of Development and Quality, explained that the ISO project at the University resulted from an effective collaboration between the deanship and academic and administrative departments. The project spanned two years of systematic work including review, qualification, training, and external auditing. She highlighted that the certification of 20 departments reflects the University's commitment to global quality standards and the integration of its administrative systems.

The Dean added that this achievement reinforces the University's journey in applying international best practices in operations management, governance, and continuous improvement, praising the continuous support and follow-up of His Excellency the President for development and quality projects.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the certified departments and the taking of commemorative photographs on this occasion.
