Today, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center welcomed a delegation of international students who came to learn about the university's innovation environment and the specialized services the Center provides to empower students and assist their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Ms. Ebtesam Al-Fallaj, Assistant Director of the Business Incubator; Mr. Saeed Al-Shamrani, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Office; Dr. Mohammed Al-Otaibi, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department; and Ms. Laila Al-Ayed, Head of Partnerships and Community Responsibility, received the delegation. They greeted the students and gave them an overview of the Center's support services and innovation ecosystem.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Otaibi gave a thorough rundown of the Center's main entrepreneurial services and initiatives, such as training programs, business model development, incubation opportunities, prototype development, mentoring and guidance, and methods for turning creative concepts into workable projects.
Additionally, Mr. Saeed Al-Shamrani emphasized the services offered to assist innovators and protect their rights, as well as the Intellectual Property Office's role in idea registration and protection.
As part of the Administration's efforts to improve the experience of international students and introduce them to the university's entrepreneurial and innovative opportunities, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bishri, Director of the General Administration for International Students, and Mr. Abdulhaleem Al-Shehri, Director of Support and Assistance, were present.
Students learned about the incubated projects and the encouraging environment offered to help them develop their ideas and skills during the final field tour of the Business Incubator facilities.
In addition to expressing gratitude for the students' participation, center officials and the General Administration for International Students emphasized the significance of these visits in enhancing the students' capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship.
