Center's Participation in the International Conference on Capacity Building in Data and Artificial Intelligence

On January 28 and 29, 2026, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship took part in the International Conference on Capacity Building in Data's accompanying exhibition. This was part of its ongoing efforts to support innovation and enhance the university's presence in national events specializing in data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

The center's participation featured an introductory pavilion where it showcased a number of innovative student projects from the university. These projects demonstrate the application of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to deliver high-quality solutions that serve the community and contribute to building a sustainable knowledge economy, while also highlighting the center's services supporting innovators and entrepreneurs.

A small number of university students took part in the pavilion with noteworthy, creative projects, such as:

  • Students Bandar Al-Harbi and AbdulIlah Al-Maliki's AI-based solar panel maintenance system project.

  • The "Gazmin" project by students Lamis Al-Harbi and Shahad Al-Harbi.

  • Najla Al-Marshidi's "Tabyan" project.

  • Asil Sardidi's "Talent Scout" project.

In a scene that demonstrated university students' high level of awareness and competence in innovation and entrepreneurship, the students gave visitors thorough explanations about their project ideas, development processes, and technologies.

The center's participation aims to promote an innovation culture among students, open channels of communication with experts and stakeholders, and support Saudi Vision 2030 targets in empowering national competencies and building an effective innovation ecosystem.
