​​​​Arabic Sentiment Analysis (ASA) is the first research group funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research in the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Al-Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University (Girls Section).

The group participated and presented a Research paper entitled by "Arabic Sentiment Analysis Resources: A Survey" in Human-Computer Interaction International Conference (HCII 2016). Authored by Dr. Areeb AlOwisheq, Dr. Sarah AlHumoud, Dr. Nora AlTwairesh and Ms. Tarfa AlBuhairi.

This was the second international research participation after participating with a research paper entitled by "Arabic Spam detection in Twitter" by Dr. Nora AlTwairesh, Ms. Mawaheb AlTuwaijri and Ms. Afnan AlMoammar in Languages Resources and Evaluation Conference (LREC 2016).
