​The ASA Principal Inve stigator Dr. Sarah AlHumoud is invited to join the management board of the 9th International Conference on Social Computing and Social Media (SCSM) which will be held in Vancouver, Canada next year.

Moreover, ASA group will organize a session in SCSM entitled by "Sentiment Analysis in Social Media". Session Chairs are: Dr. Areeb AlOwisheq, Dr. Nora AlTwairesh and Dr. Sarah AlHumoud. The paper submission policy is announced here​.

The ASA group aims in its research efforts to design an intelligent machine for the Arabic text classification. Machine learning is one of the important fields in computer sciences. In the addition, Arabic text mining and classification needs more support, research and studies.
