Dr. Al Ameri welcomes the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wales
On Wednesday morning, 10/2/1441 ِِAH, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ameri, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, welcomed Prof. Medwin Hughes, Vice-Chancellor of University of Wales, accompanying with Prof. Saleem Kidawi, Dr. Jeremy William Smith and, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Yousef, Vice-Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, Dr. Mahmoud Al Mahmoud, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Academic Research , Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ze'aki, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Khowaiter in his office.
Dr. Al Ameri welcomed the guests and informed them about the university and its roles in disseminating Islamic and Arabic sciences and community service throughout its Sharia, Arabic, Social and Applied colleges inside Saudi Arabia and abroad. Moreover, Dr. Al-Ameri praised the efforts of Prof. Hughes in enhancing the academic bonds between both countries. Also, he noted that his administration is ready for scientific cooperation, exchange research, academic experiences and developing programs with Wales University in accordance with regulations.
From his side, Prof. Hughes, Vice-Chancellor of Wales University, has thanked Dr. Al-Ameri for his hospitality and he praised the levels of cooperation between both universities and countries.
At the end of the reception, Dr. Al-Ameri presented a souvenir to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Wales and his accompanying delegation.
