On this occasion, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, congratulated the researchers whose names are included in the list of the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists in the world, expressing his appreciation for the scientists who contributed through their pioneering and distinguished research to raising the university's name to international levels, and His Excellency stressed that the steady increase in the number of university employees included in the modern version of Stanford University's list of the best 2% for the year 2024 AD is an indication of the great efforts made by both researchers. His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, sponsored on Tuesday morning, 17/9/2024, the ceremony of the institutional accreditation renewal project for the year 2026, which was organized by the Deanship of Development and Quality at Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri Hall in the Conference Building in the University City, in the presence of university vice-rectors, deans of colleges, and a number of university leaders and employees.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the Dean of Development and Quality, Dr. Kholoud bint Jamal Funda, delivered a speech in which she praised the unlimited support that the project receives from His Excellency the President of the University, and from the Vice President for Institutional Development and Social Responsibility, which reflects the commitment of Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University to the quality of education and academic excellence, and her speech included a visual presentation in which she reviewed the achievements of the Deanship, referring to the most prominent standards of institutional accreditation at the university and the statement of the committees, work teams participating in accreditation, and committees. His Excellency stressed that this high-level conference discusses an academic topic and a humanitarian issue that has a renewed presence locally, regionally and globally as an issue with cultural, social and economic dimensions, which poses a major challenge to many development models related to the future of sustainable development, its goals and objectives, especially in this era of knowledge growing dimensions and repercussions, which requires all of us to unify academic efforts, achieve effective partnerships in the scientific and research fields, and promote integrated work in strategic planning tracks to meet with the needs of today's societies and tomorrow's generations.
His Excellency added that one of the most important pivotal issues that we are experiencing now in higher education institutions in light of the rapid changes the world is witnessing, and the unprecedented successive developments that have occurred in all fields, is the issue of (sustainable development) and ensuring the achievement of its goals and objectives, as a key axis of its educational system, academic and research programs, and its enrichment and training services, and therefore this issue requires us to continuously study, serious research, and objective review of its concepts and social dimensions, and its economic repercussions.

In the presence of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti, and His Excellency the President of Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University signed an agreement to accredit 68 academic programs with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission on Wednesday morning, 1445/2/28 AH at Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri Hall in the University City in Riyadh.
The agreement comes within the objectives of the strategic plan of Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, which seeks to achieve the highest standards in academic quality to keep pace with the rapid growth witnessed by the Kingdom in the field of education and its quality to bet on pioneering outputs that support the labor market with outstanding performance and high efficiency.

His Excellency the President of Al-Imam University, Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri, stated that this memorandum stems from the university’s role in activating partnership and social responsibility, in cooperation with educational and training institutions in the Kingdom, supporting policies of integration between them, activating the role of education and training policies in them, and exchanging scientific and practical experiences that serve both parties. He pointed out that the fields mentioned in the memorandum serve a large segment, especially in the disciplines needed by university and institution students, and then the labor market in the Kingdom, and cooperation will be made to develop them because they are of great importance and have a sustainable impact if they are applied in line with the aspirations of the rational leadership.
Dr. Alam clarifies the details of the memorandum of cooperation between Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
The Vice Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, Dr. Muhammad bin Saeed, indicated that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation signed with Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University on Sunday 23/6/1439 AH; A memorandum of cooperation between the two sides in the academic, training and research fields of common interest.
Dr. Al-Alam confirmed that the organization chose Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University as it is specialized in fostering knowledge, creativity and moral values by carrying out distinguished qualitative activities in the field of education, learning, training, scientific research and community service, and provides the needs of students in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence, economics, medicine, computer specializations and Arabic language. He pointed out that the memorandum comes within the framework of cooperation and partnership programs aimed at following up on the implementation of the decisions and recommendations of the Islamic Summit, the Council of Foreign Ministers and sectoral ministerial meetings, and in implementation of the requirements of the ten-year program of the organization 2025. These programs include the exchange of students, researchers and trainees and reducing the deficit in the bodies University teaching, distance education, joint research projects, training facilities, professional and specialized training courses in response to the specific needs of Member States.
Coordination between the two parties regarding informing the secretariat of scholarships available for the benefit of students of member states, implementing joint projects in the fields of Islamic and economic studies and research and the Arabic language according to the available capabilities, and cooperating between the organization and the university to establish institutes of the Arabic language for non-native speakers based on the university’s experience in this field, and coordination between the secretariat public and between the university to provide distance education and training (via the network), launch joint research projects, organize training courses according to the needs of member states, and organize exhibitions, seminars and specialized intellectual conferences in Islamic countries and abroad to deliver the message of true moderate Islam based on solidarity, tolerance and openness, and rejecting extremism, extremism, violence and terrorism; And highlight the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this field, and the possibility of joint work between the two parties to support the "Voice of Wisdom" center.
Dr. Al-Alam stated that the memorandum will work on organizing exhibitions, seminars and specialized intellectual conferences in Islamic countries and abroad to deliver the true central message of Islam based on solidarity, tolerance and openness, rejecting extremism, extremism, violence and terrorism, and highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the most prominent member states in this field.

Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University signs MoU with Mashroat
(MENAFNEditorial) Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The National Project Management, Operation, and Maintenance Organization in Public Entities (Mashroat). The MoU was signed in the presence of Director of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Dr. Ahmad bin Salem Al-Ameri, Assistant to the Minister of Economy and Planning H.E Khalid bin Saud Al-Shenaifi, General Supervisor of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University's Technical Affairs Eng. Shafi bin Quaid Al-Qahtani, Director-General of Mashroat Ahmed bin Mutair Al-Balawi and a number of the university's senior officials.
The MoU is an important development for Mashroat given the large number of education facilities within Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. The MoU will ensure facility management is carried out to the international standards set by Mashroat.
Under the terms of the MoU, Mashroat will provide support as the university updates its facility management systems. It will begin by introducing a new electronic management system which will include data on maintenance and operations. It will also register and evaluate work carried out and introduce a performance indicator panel.
Mashroat will also organize workshops for staff on the National Guidelines for Facility and Assets Management. They will be aimed at upskilling the university's administrative personnel.
Director of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, Dr. Ahmad bin Salem Al-Ameri welcomed the partnership which will enable the university to apply best practice and enhance its facility management eco-system, 'Partnering with Mashroat is an essential step for all government entities as they work to manage their projects and facilities to best international standards.
'Through this MoU Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University is the first Saudi academic institution to adopt the Mashroat program. It will enable us to benefit from Mashroat's expertise and experience to provide sustainable impact on our development programs.'
'The university manages 69 scientific institutions and 20 academic facilities across the Kingdom and the partnership with Mashroat will ensure they are run efficiently. The improved management of our facilities will also enhance the education services we provide for our 185,000 students.'
Director-General of Mashroat, Ahmed bin Mutair Al-Balawi said, 'Based on this MoU, which is the first agreement signed with a Saudi university, we seek to support and empower Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University to apply best practice in the operation and maintenance of its facilities management.'

The National Project Management, Operation, and Maintenance Organization in Public Entities (Mashroat) is the state''s enabling arm for infrastructure projects. In the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and who doubles as Pro-Chancellor of International Islamic University in Islamabad "IIUI", Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, representing by its Deanship of Information Technology and Deanship of Institutes Affairs Abroad, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and Collaboration Agreement with IIUI.
In statements after the signature ceremony, H.E. the university rector has stated that, the two-inked agreements will actually achieving the goals pursued by both universities. He praised the efforts of Dr. Ahmad Ad-Drawish, President of IIUI, in rendering success to IIUI activities.
From his part, Dr. Ad-Drawish has thanked H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, for his staunch efforts and support to all activities and programs of IIUI. He revealed that, the two-inked agreements dealing with technology aspects, through benefiting from the experience of Al-Imam University and training, as well as advantaging from the experiences of Deanship of Institutes Affairs Abroad in teaching Arabic language to non-native speakers. He extended his thanks to both Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Dean of Deanship of Information Technology, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Salamy, Dean of Deanship of Institutes Affairs Abroad.
Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Dean of Deanship of Information Technology, pointed out that, the inked agreement with his deanship included providing some technical consultations and studies to implement the internet portal and the infrastructure of IIUI, as well as benefiting from the qualified officers of his administration. In similar vein, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salamy, Dean of Deanship of Institutes Affairs Abroad, has stated that, the inked MoU is aims to exchange experiences and faculty members and scholarships and programs between Al-Imam University and IIUI.

The Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism signs a memorandum of cooperation with Imam Muhammad bin Saud University
The Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism signed today a memorandum of joint cooperation with Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University within the framework of joint cooperation between the alliance and Arab, Islamic and international organizations, centers and universities.
The memorandum was signed by the Secretary-General in charge of the coalition, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghidi, and His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri.
Major General Al-Moghidi stressed that the signing of this memorandum comes within the framework of strengthening the strategic partnership between the coalition and the university, embodying the local, regional and international leadership role of the two parties in combating violent extremism and combating terrorism and its financing, and to enhance the common vision between them.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition includes forty-one member states, working together to coordinate and intensify their efforts in the international war on violent extremism and terrorism and to join other international efforts aimed at maintaining international peace and security.
