On this occasion, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, congratulated the researchers whose names are included in the list of the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists in the world, expressing his appreciation for the scientists who contributed through their pioneering and distinguished research to raising the university's name to international levels, and His Excellency stressed that the steady increase in the number of university employees included in the modern version of Stanford University's list of the best 2% for the year 2024 AD is an indication of the great efforts made by both researchers. This memorandum aims to implement joint aspects of cooperation and exchange experiences in scientific programs that serve both parties, in addition to building a strategic partnership for cooperation, implementing advisory, research and technical services, providing support services, entering into joint investments between the two universities, benefiting from academic buildings, implementing various training programs and tracks, and building bridges. The signing of the memorandum by the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Saghir, Vice Rector for Business and Investment Development , Dr. Mishaal bin Khalil Faraj, Assistant Vice President for Business Development and Investment for Legal Affairs, and Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Saghir, CEO of the University Investments and Self-Resources Fund, Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Amer, Director of the General Investment Administration, Mr. Abdullah bin Othman Al-Omar, Director General of the General Administration of Endowments , and on the part of Najran University, Dr. Mabkhout Abdullah Al-Saiari, General Supervisor of Investments, Endowments and Development Self-resources, and a number of officials.

His Excellency the President of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom, Mr. Akram Karimi, ways to enhance joint cooperation, a number of issues of common interest and the conditions of Tajik students at the university.
This came during his reception of the ambassador and his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday afternoon, 25/8/1442 AH, in his office, where he stressed the importance of building partnerships in the scientific, academic, research and student fields between Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and educational institutions in Tajikistan. The guest was keen to follow up on his country's students who are studying among the scholarship students at the university, stressing the interest and care of the university and its keenness to provide all services and facilities to all scholarship students of all nationalities and in all departments and colleges.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University for the warm reception, praising the efforts made by the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of Islam and Muslims, praising the strength of relations between the two brotherly countries and the steady development they are witnessing, stressing that Tajikistan considers the Kingdom a strategic partner.
The ambassador also praised the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and its role at the local, regional and international levels, stressing that its graduates

His Excellency the President of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri, received in his office on Tuesday noon, 24/8/1442 AH, the Ambassador of the Republic of Afghanistan to the Kingdom, Mr. Ahmed Javed Mujadidi, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest and ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation between Imam University and the universities of Afghanistan were discussed.
His Excellency the ambassador praised the efforts of Imam University at the local level, and the university’s great role in introducing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the international level and introducing the Islamic religion based on moderation, and the successive successes in achieving scientific and research partnerships and achieving international awards.
