Does your university as a body have elected representation on the university's highest governing body from: students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty and staff (non-faculty employees)?

Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMAMU) in Saudi Arabia has established structures to ensure representation from various university stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff, in its governance.

Student Representation:

https://units.imamu.edu.sa/administrations/en/sustainable/Pages/Student-Representation.aspx?utm_source=chatgpt.com

IMAMU has instituted a Student Council to facilitate student participation in university affairs. The council is chaired by a President and Vice President, both elected by the student body. The council includes representatives from all academic years and oversees various committees and units, such as the Student Research Unit and the Community Service Unit. This structure ensures that students have a voice in the university's decision-making processes.

Faculty and Staff Representation:

https://units.imamu.edu.sa/colleges/en/science/profile/Pages/Faculty-and-Staff.aspx?utm_source=chatgpt.com

While specific details about faculty and non-faculty staff representation on the university's highest governing body are not explicitly provided in the available sources, IMAMU's organizational structure includes various administrative offices and departments that involve faculty and staff in governance roles. For instance, the College of Science has administrative offices such as the Dean's Office, Vice Dean's Office, and offices for heads of departments, which are typically staffed by faculty members.

Additionally, the university's strategic plan emphasizes the importance of governance and administrative procedures, suggesting an inclusive approach to decision-making that likely involves faculty and staff contributions.

Deanship of Students Affair
