​Graduation Project 

To graduate from the Industrial Engineering (IE) program, students must successfully complete a graduation project (GP) in their final year. The graduation project's goal is to increase the student's knowledge by implementing the engineering skills and experiences he gained as an undergraduate. Students’ graduation projects will reflect their accumulated education in science, engineering, labs, and practical training. This will help the students to get ready for their professional careers following graduation. Another goal is to assist graduate engineers in finding suitable careers. Therefore, it is advised that the topic of the graduation project should be relevant to the labor market needs and the nation's development strategy. 

On the other hand, the graduation project encourages students to create projects that demonstrate their intellectual, technical, and creative ability. Moreover, students develop lifelong learning skills and connect to real-world applications. Specifically, such projects in industrial engineering enable students to develop, implement, and enhance industrial processes, operations, and systems in order to improve productivity, eliminate waste and non-value-added activities, and improve resource utilization. 

The graduation project in industrial engineering is a two-semester course in which students work under the guidance and supervision of faculty members. In the Industrial Engineering Department such projects are organized as team activities, but the maximum number of students per each project cannot exceed four.

Due to the recent establishment of the Department of Industrial Engineering, the graduation projects for the department’s students are still under implementation and will be announced upon completion.​
