Deanship of Information Technology Holds Workshop on The electronic Services familiarization Campaign
On Tuesday morning, 10 / 5 / 1435 AH,the Deanship of Information at Al-Imam University carried out a workshop on a familiarization campaign of electronic services for staff members at the College of Science.The College Dean Dr. Babtein attended the workshop along with staff members. The campaign aimed at encouraging staff members to take part and use the services for carrying out their tasks safely and easily through Service Gate that the Deanship has made available on the university website.
Eng. Met'eeb Al-Oteibi, Eng.Tarek Ibrahim Almheimeed, and Eng.Fahd Alfawzan along with a number the Deanship senior staff presented a detailed explanation of the mechanism of using the electronic services and how to enter the Service Gate and use it. Email service and other available services were also explained.
Dr. Babtein, the Dean also added that the Deanship is among the important University authorities as it is concerned with providing and delivering information easily to university staff and having the email of students under the university label spreads the university email to all university staff besides the electronic services to the financial and administrative affairs systems. This is seen as a quality shift hoping that the services achieve the intended objective.
He added: The Deanship has worked hard to implement the services of staff members and university staff. We are about to open a new gate that achieves our prospects and reach more developed stages since we are at a time of technology and fast communications, and we have to follow up.
He ascertained the importance of electronic services to staff members at the College. He said: Most staff members use technology very efficiently. That is why these services will participate in implementing their tasks which the College is well known,for, either at the research level or communicating with overseas universities and international journals, or with the students for better achievements and qualitative educational process.
Dr. Babtein expressed his happiness with these services and wished the Deanship of Information Technology more progress in services concerning fast technology that benefits teaching process and scientific research and publishing.
