The Physics Department Holds Scientific Activities on the Occasion of Light Year 2015

    On two consecutive days (the first for male students and the other for females, Wednesday 06 /5/ 1436 AH - 25/2/ 2015  and Thursday 07/5/ 1436 - 26/5/2015) and under the auspices of his Excellency the Dean of the College of Science Dr. Mohammd Muhsen Salem Babtein and his Excellency the Head of Physics Department Dr. Ahmad  Mohammad Ibrahim Alqa'ud, Physics Department presented varied scientific activities on the occasion of Light Year 2015 decreed by UNESCO to be the World Light and Light Technology Year. 

    On the occasion, several events were presented by the Department staff members and students. Among which were a simplified presentation of light and its applications, simplified experiments about light, a presentation of works of  winner in the previously announced competition, and cash prizes which were awarded to winners of competitions performed during the activities.
