The Deanship of Quality and Assessment paid a visit to the College of Science and met the Dean and the Vice-Dean for Development and Quality. That was on Wednesday morning, 29/1/ 1437 AH – 11/11 2015 AD.

  The Dean of Quality and Assessment Dr. Suleiman Aljbeir, Vice-Dean for Academic Accreditation Affairs Dr. Mohammad Matrouk Alqahtani, and the Consultant at the Deanship Dr. Omar Ibn Ali Alrafai'aah attended the meeting. The College was represented by the Dean Dr. Mohammad Babatin, and College Vice-Dean for Development and Quality Dr. Raed Hussain S Alhathlool, and Female Assistant Vice-Dean for Development and Quality Dr. Abeer Saleh Al-Nahdi (through the network), and Head of the Development and Quality Unit Dr. Abdulwahed Khalil. The meeting was also attended by Head of the Physics Department Dr. Ahmad Alqa'ud, and all members of College Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality, heads of units, heads and members of Academic Accreditation Committees of Departments.

   The Dean of the College of Science opened the meeting welcoming the Dean of Qualityand Assessment and his accompanying team.  Then, the Dean of Quality and Assessment appreciated the efforts of the College of Science in achieving academic accreditation and quality requirements. He also extended the University acting Rector's gratitude to the College of Science for their efforts in this regard.

    On the other hand, the Dean of the College of Science ascertained that all the four programs: MSc in Mathematics, BSc in Applied Mathematics, BSc in Physics, BSc in Chemistry (Male and Female are ready for this project which the College has worked very hard to implement ever since the developmental program.

    Next, The College Vice-Dean for Development and Quality and Head of the Development and Quality Unit gave a joint presentation. They first thanked all Development and Quality staff in the College (male and female) for their efforts. They also appreciated the support and interaction the Vice-Dean of Development and Quality enjoys from all College seniors, on top of whom is the Dean.  Then, the Vice-Dean for Development and Quality reviewed the organizational structure used to run the processes of development and quality at the College, which is done through three units: Development and Quality Unit, Statistics, Documentation, and Data Analysis Unit, and Training Unit, besides several other subcommittees. Then, both Dr. Raed Hussain S Alhathlool and Dr. Abdulwahed Khalil informed the Deanship of Development and Quality about the readiness of the College to start the process of academic accreditation.

    Ending the meeting, the Dean of Quality and Assessment thanked the College of Science and all staff of Development and Quality for their efforts. The Deanship expressed its support to the College application for academic accreditation as a result of the College readiness that they have witnessed.
