The College of Science has participated in the"Fifth Forum of Choosing University Major 2016," which was conducted by Tarbiyah Namoudhajiyah Schools in Al-Nuzha District, Riyadh. It aims at establishing the collaboration between colleges and schools to meet pre-university students' needs for advice and guidance to make the right decision regarding occupations that suit their interests, competencies, and abilities taking into consideration the labor market characteristics, in addition to introducing colleges and the important tasks they perform.
The meeting was conducted in Tarbiyah Namoudhajiyah Schools Club (Al-Nuzha) on Monday and Tuesday 29-30/4/1437 AH corresponding to 8-9/2/2016 AD, In addition to Wednesday 1/5/1437 AH corresponding to 10/2/2016 AD, in two sessions (8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 5 p.m.-8 p.m.).
It was opened by H.E. the Principal of Tarbiyah Namoudhajiyah Schools. A large number of pre-university students in Riyadh attended the meeting. Brochures of the College and its three departments were distributed to them. Moreover, their questions about college regulations, programs, majors, and requirements of admission and registration were answered; in addition, they were encouraged to visit the College after coordinating with its staff.
The meeting was held on behalf of the college by H.E. Dr. Ali Al-Fraihi, Academic Advisor of the College, and advisors of departments. Furthermore, three College students talked about their experience in the College. They are: Abdullah Bander Al-Dahhas (Applied Mathematics - level eight), Muhammad Muslih Al-Zahrani (Physics - level six), and Mubarak Atif Al-Qahtani (Chemistry - level five).
