H.E. Dr. Muhammad Ibn Muhsin Babtain, the Dean of College of Science, launched the English version of the college website. The small launching ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Salah Al-Deen Umar Abdullah Ali, Director of the college website, and H.E. Dr. Raed Ibn Hussein Al-Hathlool, Vice-Dean of the College for Development and Quality. The launching took place on Wednesday 14 Jumada Al-Thani 1437 A.H. corresponding to 23 March 2016 in the office of H.E. the Dean of the College.   

The college, on its part, thanked the Deanship of Information Technology represented by its Dean Dr. Waleed Ibn Abdulaziz Al-Jandal for their efforts and support which aim to develop the Electronic Portal of the university and the various electronic services provided to university members. The college also extended its thanks to King Abdullah Institute for Translation and Arabization represented by its Dean Dr. Ahmad Ibn Abdullah Al-Banyan for their blessed efforts in translating parts of the college website.

H.E. Dean of the College expressed his deep thanks to Mr. Salah Umar for his blessed efforts in developing the college website in its two versions: Arabic and English. He also thanked H.E. Dr. Raed Al-Hathlool for his efforts in following-up with the college website to ensure quality and development.    

It is worth mentioning that the website of the College of Science is one of the most distinguished websites of the colleges, units and centers in the university. It is usually placed among the top websites in the periodic reports issued by the Electronic Portal in the Deanship of Information Technology.

On the other hand, Mr. Salah Al-Deen Umar remarked that the college's website in both its English and Arabic versions is regarded as an essential reference for the college's faculty members, employees and students in all matters involving educational, administrative and research process. The website is subjected to periodic update every day, and is the main reference for the college's announcements and news.
