The Activity Committee in the College of Science at King Abdullah City for Female Students participated with an introductory booth in the University celebrations of the 86th National Day, the day when citizens feel proud of what has been achieved in their generous country.
The activity presented included two boards of the map of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on which the students wrote their feelings regarding how they love our dear country. The students also participated in presenting Saudi hospitality and decorated the booth with flags and slogans of patriotism.
It is worth mentioning that Amal Al-Shehri, a student from the Chemistry Department, participated with a special montage about the National Day. Anfal Al-Dawood and Al-Joharah Al-Mughaileeth, students from the Physics Department, also participated with a visual presentation about energy, including the Kingdom role in supporting renewable energy. This activity was attended by many visitors including the College members and students who expressed their admiration of all that was presented.
It is also worth mentioning that this activity was sponsored and encouraged by Dr. Abeer Saleh Al-Nahdi, Vice-Dean of the College of Science for Students Affairs, who in turn thanked the Activity Committee for its exerted efforts and asked Allah to save this country which is strong because of its Islamic belief, prosperous because of its development, and stable because of its security.
The participants from the Activity Committee in the National Day were: Ms. Saja Muhammad Al-Qusayer, Physics Department, and Ms. Maha Khaled Al-Asker, Chemistry Department.
