The Female student department at the college of science holds a seminar entitled "University Male and Female students Against Extremism"

"University Male and Female students Against Extremism"        

   The Female student department at the College of Science, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, held a seminar entitled "University Male and Female students Against Extremism". That was on Tuesday, 21 / 1 / 1437 AH.  The Assistant Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the College Ms. Reem Abdallah Aljadh'ee, Deputy head of the mathematics Department Dr. Mona Ibrahim Al-Asfour, and Deputy Head of the Chemistry Department Ms. Maha Al-Ali attended the seminar along with staff members and students.

   The discussion was led by Ms. Seetah Fahd Al-Enezi, a lecturer at the Department of Physics. She made clear that the seminar is an open discussion with students to put forward ideas about extremism and propose solutions to unveil the characteristics of extremist organizations and causes of violence and terrorism

   The discussion was then open with female students about the first theme about these organizations and their characteristics. In the second theme, students were informed of the reasons behind endorsing these misleading thoughts. Students gave positive ideas about the reasons such as weak religious motives and awareness of the dangers of these organizations, and attracting victims by money and family reasons. 

    At the end, students were given the opportunity to discuss applicable plans to face and treat extremist thought which were to be submitted by the end of the following week. The best two students' plans will be awarded symbolic and material prizes by the University.

Students were given souvenirs of bookmarks labeled with national spiritual expressions prepared by Ms. Maha Al-Askar.
