"Parameter Estimation of Log Logistic Distribution by Ranked Set Sampling "

يقدمــــــها سعادة الأستاذ الدكتور/ ابراهيم البطل - الأستاذ في قسم الرياضيات والإحصاء - وذلك يــــوم الثلاثاء 1-6- 1438هـ  الســـاعة 8:30  صـــباحاً في قاعة رقم (A 078-2) بمبنى كلية العلـــوم، والدعوة عامة.

Abstract:

Ranked-set sampling  is a sampling scheme which can achieve efficiency and reduce cost in certain situations where the measurement of the variable of interest for a sampled item is costly or time consuming. Situations like this are typical in areas such as agriculture, environmental studies, ecology, sociology and others. The technique of RSS can have a great deal of applications in these areas.
