:Abstract

 The computer simulation of probability distributions of random variables is a technique that has become very important in the applications of probabilities, and for this aim, random numbers are a fundamental resource.  In this seminar, we present the probability concepts and the most commonly used methods to generate samples from non-uniform distributions using random generated numbers from the uniform distribution on the interval (0,1). Many examples are studied. We also discuss the different methods that produce random numbers.​
