أقامت المجموعة البحثية  للرياضيات البحثة ندوة ضمن الأنشطة العلمية لقسم الرياضيات والإحصاء بعنوان

 Density of S-integral points in projective varieties​

قام بتقديم الندوة سعادة د/يوسف لزعر​  - الأستاذ المساعد في قسم الرياضيات والإحصاء - وذلك يــــوم الثلاثاء  29/11/2016    الســـاعة 10 صـــباحاً في القاعة رقم (136-3) بمبنى كلية العلـــوم،.

Abstract:  

The aim of the talk is to present a method to prove density of the product of completions of projective varieties at both archimedean and non-archimedean places of a number field in characteristic zero. Using strong approximation on the algebraic group which acts naturally on such varieties provided it is noncompact and semi simple, we are able to prove  density for the S-adic topology. In the meanwhile, we will review the adelic setting and local-global principles for projective varieties.
