4. The research must not be funded by any research funding program at the university or by any other supporting entity.

7. The scientific reference cited in the published research must follow the approved format below:

8. ضوابط الدعم المالي:
1. يحصل المتقدم على تعويض بكامل رسوم النشر بما لا يتجاوز مبلغ (12,000) اثنا عشر ألف ريال للمجلات المصنفة في الربع الاول أو الربع الثاني ضمن شبكة العلوم. بالإضافة إلى ما تقره اللجنة الدائمة للبحث العلمي والابتكار من أوعية نشر.
2. يحصل المتقدم على تعويض بنصف رسوم النشر، بما لا يتجاوز مبلغ (6,000) ستة آلاف ريال للمجلات المصنفة في الربع الثالث ضمن قوائم شبكة العلوم أو سكوبس. بالإضافة إلى ما تقره اللجنة الدائمة للبحث العلمي والابتكار من أوعية نشر.
8. Financial support regulations:
a. The applicant is eligible for full reimbursement of the publication fees, up to a maximum of 12,000 SAR (twelve thousand riyals), for journals ranked in Q1 or Q2 within the Web of Science database. This also includes other publishing platforms as approved by the Standing Committee for Scientific Research and Innovation.
b. The applicant is eligible for 50% reimbursement of the publication fees, up to a maximum of 6,000 SAR (six thousand riyals), for journals ranked in Q3 within either Web of Science or Scopus. This also includes other publishing platforms as approved by the Standing Committee for Scientific Research and Innovation.
9. يحصل المتقدم على نصف الاستحقاق المذكور في البند رقم 8 في حال كان الباحث ليس هو المؤلف الأول أو المؤلف المراسل أو المؤلف الأخير في الورقة البحثية.
9. The applicant shall receive 50% of the entitlement stated in Item No. 8 if the researcher is neither the first author, the corresponding author, nor the last author of the research paper.
10. تقبل الأبحاث المنشورة لهذه المبادرة إذا كان تاريخ نشرها الأول من يناير ٢٠٢٣م فما بعد.
10. Published research for this initiative will be accepted if its first publication date is January 1, 2023, or later.
11. الدعم المتضمن في هذه الخدمة تشجيعي، ويخضع لسلطة الجامعة التقديرية، ولا يترتب عليه إنشاء الحقوق أو المطالبة بها، من قبل المشمولين بها.11.
