In the Saudi Universities Entrepreneurs Competition, which was organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority with participation from a select group of national universities as part of the Biban 2025 Forum held at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, the "Nesr" project from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University placed third at the kingdom level. This triumph adds to the university's track record of empowering and assisting the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship, demonstrating the caliber of its students and their capacity to create creative business ventures that, by boosting the knowledge economy and promoting university entrepreneurship, help to realize the objectives of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030.
Through the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and its business incubator "Sahabat Al-Imam," the university is continuing its efforts to foster the university entrepreneurship ecosystem by supporting promising projects and giving students and entrepreneurs from the university members technical and consulting assistance so they can turn ideas into startups that can grow and last.
According to the Sahabat Al-Imam business incubator's assistant director, the organization will keep improving its entrepreneurial atmosphere and expanding its offerings to make it possible for more artists and innovators to transform their concepts into worthwhile, long-lasting projects that help Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 achieve its goals.
The "Nesr" project's leader, a College of Business student, expressed his joy at the win and emphasized that Imam University's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Sahabat Al-Imam incubator were crucial in making this happen. He noted that he and his team were able to develop the project idea and turn it into a competitive entrepreneurial model at the kingdom level thanks to the motivating environment. "Nesr" is a cutting-edge online resource for all-inclusive travel guide services in the kingdom, allowing guides and making the experience of visitors smooth and flexible.
