According to the kingdom-wide ranking of the top entrepreneurial universities, Imam University comes in second.
In recognition of its outstanding efforts and entrepreneurial initiatives to support the university's entrepreneurship ecosystem and improve the innovation environment, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University placed second among the best entrepreneurial universities at the kingdom level, enabling its employees and students to create creative business ventures that boost the country's economy and help realize Saudi Arabia Vision 2030's goals. During the honoring ceremony for entrepreneurial universities that took place on Saturday evening, November 8, as part of the Biban 2025 Forum hosted at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, in the presence of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Commerce, the governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority presented the honor shield to the president of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the university business incubator "Sahabat Al-Imam," which have helped to empower and support entrepreneurs among university members and turn their innovative ideas into long-term projects that support the development of a knowledge-and creativity-based economy, are two examples of the innovative role the university continues to play in fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial culture. The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's director expressed his pride in this national accomplishment, which is the result of the university administration's strong support for the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship. He affirmed that the university's dedication to accomplishing Saudi Arabia Vision 2030's goals of creating an innovative and leadership-based economy is embodied in this recognition, noting that the center will carry on developing its programs and initiatives
to foster inventors and match their ideas with sustainability.
