In an effort of promoting digital transformation at the university, aligning the outputs of institutional structure with university's plans, strategy, and relevant plans, and to implement the concept of Saudi digital government, PNIRCS participated in the activities of a workshop entitled "Activating the role of institutional structure in enhancing institutional work and benefiting from methodologies of institutional structure in the digital transformation processes at the university."
Vice rector for Business Development and Investment, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sughayer, Dean of PNIRCS Dr. Sulaiman Al-Sughayer, and Digital Transformation Consultant, Dr. Lulu Al-Suwaidan attended the workshop, which was organized by the Deanship of Information Technology at the University at Voco Hotel on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Bader Al-Samaani began the workshop by highlighting the importance of activating the institutional structure to promote digital transformation at the university, aligning the outputs of institutional structure with the university's work plans, strategy, and relevant plans to implement the concept of Saudi digital government in the development of the digital transformation map by using the practices of modern institutional structure. Such practices include analysis of work structure, and also current and future technology structure. The workshop examined the current state of entities affiliated with the Vice Rectorate for Business Development and Investment, and the offered tasks and services. Feedback, and suggested requirements were collected to make use of the practices of institutional structure in the digital transformation for the university.
Vice rector for Business Development and Investment praised what was discussed on the agenda of the workshop whose aim was to improve the efficiency of provided services and develop the technical structure of Vice Rectorate entities.
Dean of PNIRCS thanked the Dean of Information Technology and the institutional structure team for organizing the workshop, which contributes to the development of services provided by the Institute's current and future projects.
Digital Transformation Consultant at PNIRCS emphasized the importance of the workshop whose aim was to enhance the technical infrastructure and achieve digital transformation through automating procedures to help improve the level of achievement and ensure the quality of services provided by the Institute.
