Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has recently approved to establish the Investment Engineering Business Centre at College of Engineering to contributing actively in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030, says Dr. Saleh Abdullah Al-Saleh, Dean of College of Engineering, in statements recently.
Continuing his statement, Dr. Al-Saleh has said that, H.E. the University Rector's approval is thanks to his trustworthy about the capabilities and contributions of the university, and his believe that the comprehensive development renaissance witnessing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in all areas, requires the need to keep pace with effective executive steps at all levels.
On the role of the new established centre, Dr. Al-Saleh has pointed out that, it will provide engineering work, in all its fields, for the public and private sectors and individuals, including the engineering consultancy and technical studies. In addition to learning in various fields of engineering and training on specialized technical engineering topics, and applied computer programs in different engineering works and skills, as well as inspection, calibration and quality control.
Shedding more lights, Dr. Al-Saleh has clarified that, such multiple engineering contributions would be, Allah Willing, a great support to the Saudi strategic enterprises, both those that pertain to housing, energy, industry, water, environment and others. He added that, the nature of such engineering works would include generating the technical studies and the technical solutions to engineering problems and issues relating to planning, design, implementation and maintenance in various engineering projects, as well as raising the level of planning, design, implementation, supervision and maintenance.
Concluding his words, Dr. Al-Saleh has praised the continued efforts and contributions of H.E. the University Rector to bring success to the university and its affiliated academic entities as well.

Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, represented by the University Agency for Educational Affairs, signed on Sunday, 17/11/2024, a cooperation agreement with the "Etijah" Association in cooperation with Abdulaziz Aljomaih Charitable Foundation, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the university and the association in providing guidance and career guidance services to university students and fresh graduates. The agreement also aims to help students
choose the appropriate academic and professional path, which contributes to the development of their
knowledge and skills to prepare them for the labor market.
The agreement included cooperation in various fields, including career guidance, developing students' skills through quality programs that seek to prepare them for the labor market, supporting academic innovation, and developing professional skills in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Through this agreement, the university looks forward to achieving a strategic partnership that benefits students and contributes to enhancing the role of higher education in meeting the needs of the labor market, and enhancing coordination between the academic and professional sectors in the Kingdom.

The Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students Affairs, represented by the Training Unit, implemented a series of diverse training courses for male and female students of the university during the first semester of the year 1445 AH remotely via the Zoom platform, in an effort by the Deanship to develop and refine the skills of university students, as these courses play a major role in developing their skills and self-development, thus giving them more self-confidence, which will help students achieve their achievements and goals in several fields, and reach their goals, and the number of courses offered for this semester amounted to (10 courses) with the attendance of (2150) people.
Its courses for this semester began with a course entitled: (Digital Citizenship), presented by Mr. Thanyan Al-Harbi, which covered many topics, including defining the concept of digital citizenship, and the most important qualities that a digital citizen must have. He concluded his talk about the importance of digital citizenship and its benefits, and the most important skills necessary for dealing properly with technical sites.
Dr. Bandar Haddad held a course entitled: (Building Self-Confidence). The course began with a definition of confidence and whether it is acquired or variable, the importance of socialization and external influences and their effect on the self, the most important benefits gained from self-confidence, and ways to treat low self-confidence.
A course entitled: (Creativity in Digital Content) presented by Mr. Talal Al Sharif. The course began with defining the concept of creativity, and stated that content changes with the change in life, and the content creator must follow all social media sites and choose the appropriate ones to publish the content. He concluded with the obstacles facing digital content creators.
A course entitled: (Work Stress Management) was organized by Dr. Bandar Haddad, aiming to introduce students to work and life stress, the causes that cause it, how to treat it, and the proposed solutions to overcome it.
A course entitled: (Creating Passion) presented by Ms. Al-Jawhara Al-Mahidib, which aims to define the concept of passion and its types, and how to acquire passion. She talked about its importance and the signs that indicate the presence of passion, and concluded by talking about the distractions of passion and the most important advice to avoid losing passion.
Ms. Al-Jawhara also presented a course entitled: (Teamwork). The course began by introducing students to the concept of teamwork, the benefits gained from teamwork, ways to motivate students to work in a team, the advantages that a person gains, and the most important tips for the success of teamwork.
A course entitled: (Job Search Methods) was organized, presented by Mr. Thanyan Al-Harbi, and included many important topics, including how to use social media sites in searching for jobs, writing a professional CV, and knowing the most important sectors and patterns of the labor market.
There was also a course entitled: (How to be a successful entrepreneur) which was delivered by Ms. Al-Jawhara Al-Mahidib, aiming to introduce the concept of entrepreneurship, the importance and characteristics of entrepreneurship, and how to practice freelance work. She mentioned the most important programs for entrepreneurs or small projects.
She held a course entitled: (Professional Tendencies) by Professor Al-Jawhara, which is concerned with identifying professional tendencies, investing students' energies, introducing them to their strengths, and guiding them to make sound professional decisions, to enhance their chances of success and motivation to work and achieve, and the most important aspects affecting professional development.
At the end of its courses, there was a course entitled: (Building a professional profile on the LinkedIn network), presented by Mr. Talal Al Sharif, which aims to introduce students to how to design a distinctive professional profile. Among the most important topics included in the course are the importance and benefit of the LinkedIn platform, the difference between it and social networking sites in terms of speed of employment, and how to benefit from the platform by adding the most important points.
It is also worth mentioning that these courses come within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the Deanship of Student Affairs, in order to achieve its mission of development and improvement for university students, under the support and guidance of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Kharashi, as the Deanship is interested in teaching them some new skills and developing their old skills, and choosing the topics of the courses before the start of each academic year to determine the students' needs, in line with the goals and strategy of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.

Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, represented by the Applied College, signed on Wednesday 20/4/1446 AH a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Ground Services Company, and the university was represented in the signing ceremony by Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Salloum, CEO of the College, and the company was represented by Mr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Dhaheri, Vice President for Human Resources, in the presence of a number of college and company leaders.
The CEO of the Applied College indicated after the signing that His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, always emphasizes the importance of partnership with the private and public sectors to qualify and train male and female students to develop their professional skills, share programs and exchange experiences in the field of planning, development and cooperation in order to provide quality diplomas that meet the needs of the Saudi labor market.
Dr. Al-Salloum also pointed out that the memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the university and the Saudi Ground Services Company in the fields of training and supporting various programs in the aviation, travel and tourism sector, and in an effort to exchange experiences in the areas of joint cooperation and achieve the strategic objectives of the two sides, thus contributing to achieving the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration announced on Thursday 19/05/1443H corresponding to 23/12/2021 AD the opening of the Career Guidance and Employment Support Center, which is one of the initiatives of the strategic plan of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University 2025, which aims to develop the skills of the student in line with the professions of the future and in a way that enhances the competitiveness of the university's outputs and meets the requirements of the labor market. It also contributes to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in terms of ensuring the alignment of learning outcomes with the needs of the labor market as well as improving the readiness of young people to enter the labor market.
The supervisor of the center, Dr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Ammar, Undersecretary of the Deanship of Admission and Registration for Development and Quality, stated that the initiative of the Career Guidance Center aims to help students develop appropriate and relevant job skills from choosing the right specialization to building a CV to finding a suitable job and contributing to raising the professional and career awareness of university students and their level of employment. The Center's mission also provides career guidance services to the students of the university to help them make sound career decisions in line with the labor market and its current and future requireme

Dr. Fahad Al-Ammar explained that thanks to God and his success, and then with the support of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, and careful follow-up from His Excellency the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Sulaiman bin Sulaiman Al-Anqari, and thanks to the efforts of the work team, the basic equipment related to the center was completed, where the preparation of the regulations of the center, the processing of male and female employees, the preparation of training bags, and the website were completed. With the help of Allah, the Career Guidance Center for Students at the Deanship of Admission and Registration was inaugurated on Thursday 19/05/1443H corresponding to 23/12/2021G, one of the initiatives of the strategic plan of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University 2025, which will contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in terms of ensuring the alignment of learning outcomes with the needs of the labor market as well as improving the readiness of young people to enter the labor market.
The center provides vocational and career guidance and qualification services to male and female students in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, in a way that enhances the competitiveness of the university's outputs. These services include optimal CV writing, counseling sessions, job interview skills development as well as many services related to career and career counseling.
The Center also works to establish community partnerships with several training bodies in order to establish specialized training courses in career guidance, workshops and seminars, which are announced periodically through the Center's website.

On this occasion, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister — may Allah protect them — for their unwavering support of higher education in Saudi Arabia. This support has facilitated numerous national achievements and strengthened universities’ contributions to economic development. The restructuring plan introduced significant updates to IMSIU’s academic and administrative framework, including:

These measures aim to prepare graduates for emerging opportunities and align the university’s programs with the transformational objectives of Vision 2030.

This week was accompanied by a number of training courses held by the Center entitled (Professional Certificates) presented by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Mansour, Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration, as well as a training course entitled (Steps of Career Readiness) presented by the professional advisors at the Center, Mr. Omar Al-Omari and Mr. Sulaiman Al-Budaiya.
For his part, HE the Director of the Center, Dr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Ammar, explained that this participation comes within the framework of the Deanship's keenness to provide the best levels of academic and professional support and consultations, qualify graduates to be ambassadors of this prestigious university, and introduce its students and job seekers from visitors to the show of the services provided by the Center in supporting sound professional decisions, and optimal guidance for the preparation of CVs, and the development of job interview skills. Introducing students to the appropriate functional areas for their specializations, in addition to activating communication channels between the Center and university students, and training packages and workshops related to the professional fields offered by the Center.

One of the main Training Program is :50 male and female employees from the administrative staff at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University received professional certificates after passing the intensive training program organized by the University’s Skills Development Center recently. Participants in the program were able to obtain the “Certified Business Professional in Leadership” and “Certified Business Professional in Project Management” certificates.
The Head of the Skills Development Center, Dr. Mohammed bin Nidaa Al-Anzi: "The program included (45) diverse administrative units from the university, which reflects the center's keenness to provide training opportunities for all departments. Dr. Al-Anzi expressed his congratulations to those who obtained professional certificates in leadership and project management, wishing them success, stressing that this achievement enhances administrative competencies in the fields of leadership and project management. Dr. Al-Anzi concluded his statement by extending his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amri, for his continuous support to develop the skills of university members. As part of the efforts of the Center for Career Guidance and Communication with Alumni for the students of the university, the Center held a training course (remotely) entitled (Professional Professional Certificates) on Sunday, 14/10/1443 AH, which targets the students of the university. The course was presented by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Mansour, Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. The course aimed to develop the information and skills of participants in professional professional certificates and their importance in the labor market, how to obtain them, and their link to the professional development of the student.

Under the patronage of the Vice President of Al-Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Asmari, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Professional Certificates and Leadership Programs Unit, and with the support of the Student Fund, organized this evening 22/10/2024, the graduation ceremony of the second batch of the intensive program "Wa'ed" to qualify and prepare promising young leaders, at Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri Hall in the Conference Building.
The ceremony began with the royal anthem and verses from the Holy Quran, then the speech of the Director of the Leadership Programs and Professional Certificates Unit delivered by Dr. Farraj Al-Qubaisi, then the student Saja bint Fahd Al-Muhaimeed delivered the students' speech, then the audience watched a presentation of an introductory video about the program, which comes within the framework of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university to consolidate its vision and mission by contributing to the development of societies by building qualified leaders, in order to develop the leadership
personality traits of a group of university students, by qualifying them for the basics of leading themselves. This initiative is a contribution from the Deanship to achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Program and the Human Capacity Development Initiative within the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, and meeting the needs of the labor market. The program, in which 36 students graduated, is concerned with five core stages for a semester, addressing a range of areas and issues related to the administrative and leadership field such as Certified Business Professional in leadership, emotional intelligence, task management and prioritization, strategic planning, change management, and management innovation.
The program, which targets university students who have a sense of leadership, aims to support trainees and develop their future leadership skills, enhance national leadership competencies, facilitate the selection of the most appropriate students to occupy leadership positions, benefit from international models in developing national leaders, enable trainees to acquire capabilities to lead the work team and business management, develop decision-making skills in the changing labor market, establish networks among trainees that support the labor market and develop participants' understanding of the meaning of the strategy, and qualify those accepted from University students with basic knowledge and concepts in the field of leadership, revealing the personal traits and leadership practices of the participants, and developing their knowledge in the field of leadership and its modern concepts.
The ceremony, which was attended by the Vice Dean of the Deanship, Prof. Dhafer bin Muhammad Al-Qahtani, the Vice Dean of Programs and Activities, Dr. Abdullah Al-Asmari, and a number of Vice Deans, Deanships and University employees, concluded by honoring the graduates of the "Wa'ed" program.
Partnerships with Local and International Organizations
The university collaborates with many local and international organizations to further its goals in poverty reduction, such as the Young Leaders for Global Communication Program, the Misk Professional Preparation Program, and Career Week.The university conducts international visits, such as a recent visit by a delegation of female students to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China. These partnerships enable the exchange of resources and expertise, increasing the university's ability to provide comprehensive support to its students and the community.
