World Hearing Day event

The Services Center for Persons with Disabilities of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs organized in conjunction with the World Hearing Day under the slogan “Take care of your hearing and enjoy it for life, which falls on March 3 of each year, on Monday on 4/8/1443 AH, in Building (321) in the city of King Abdullah for female students.

This day aims to educate female students about the importance of preserving the ear and hearing health, promoting community awareness about disorders and hearing loss, educating all the diseases surrounding the sense of hearing, and speeding up prevention and their treatments.

The event included awareness pillars for the care and preservation of hearing, a corner for learning the basics of sign language to raise awareness towards the deaf, a corner for printed images to translate some words into sign language, a corner for displaying paintings about the World Hearing Day logo, and a video presentation for learning some words in sign language. ​


Blood Donation Campaign ​

The Health Education Department at the Medical Services participated in the blood donation campaign that was held by the university in cooperation with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center by conducting a special education workshop in which:

  1- Answering the inquiries of those wishing to donate about the conditions, contraindications and benefits of the donation

and duration of the campaign.

2- Distributing symbolic gifts to some donors, in the form of cups bearing the campaign logo.

3- Distributing the campaign brochures prepared by ( King Faisal Specialist Hospital and University College of Medicine ).

4- Make a T-shirt with the campaign logo printed on it and distribute it to the participations of the service and public relations employees of the university.

The campaign received a strong turnout from those wishing to donate, whether students or employees, and 

Imam Muhammad bin Saud University and "Blind" draw joy on the faces of blind children

In cooperation with the “Community Awakening" team of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, the National Association of the Blind in the Riyadh Region (Blind), held the “Assaad Ta'ad" event at its headquarters in Riyadh; On the occasion of the International Children's Day.

The initiative included recreational and educational activities for blind children and their families. Many parties also participated in activating the initiative to serve blind children medically and socially. The specialists at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, the Department of Optometry, were present to display prosthetic devices for the visually impaired, as well as the Al Noor Institute for the Blind participated in displaying some educational aids for blind students, and the Cochlear Implanters Association and Al Awael Center participated in introductory corners for the beneficiaries.

Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University also participated in a special corner on health affairs for the Faculty of Medicine at the university, a special corner on agriculture, which made it easier for blind children to feel plants closely, a special corner containing stories and imagination, and a corner of plastic art for the visually impaired.
