Her Excellency the Dean of the Center for Employment and Entrepreneurship Services, Dr. Sawsan Al-Momen, explained that the acquisition of the license of the business incubator of Imam University means that it can obtain the facilities provided by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises and its partners from government or private entities, which is primarily beneficial to the pioneers and entrepreneurs of male and female students and graduates of the university, Dr. Sawsan Al-Momen added that the Authority has stipulated to obtain the license of business incubators a number of procedures and requirements, which included the submission of a plan The work includes a feasibility study, a description of the activity of the business incubator and its services, the identification of the target sectors and the policy of the incubator in the admission and graduation of beneficiaries, the absorptive capacity of the number of beneficiaries, and its approval by the Authority, in addition to an engineering drawing and description of the interior design between the office and the common spaces and spaces, and the plan of periodic self-evaluation and external of the procedures of the business incubator and beneficiaries.

The restructuring plan introduced significant updates to IMSIU’s academic and administrative framework, including:

• Merging and renaming certain academic departments to better align with the demands of the labor market.
These measures aim to prepare graduates for emerging opportunities and align the university’s programs with the transformational objectives of Vision 2030.
Among the changes was the renaming of the Deanship of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, reflecting the university’s evolving strategic priorities and its dedication to supporting innovation-driven growth.

The team of female students of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University won the first place in the NEOM Artificial Intelligence Challenge, which is one of the initiatives of the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence that was dedicated to Saudi university students in coordination with the Ministry of Education and partnership with NEOM and SDAYA.
Approximately 400 male and female students at various university levels from 39 Saudi universities participated in the challenge, who contributed to strengthening the city of the future "NEOM" with innovations aimed at creating a sustainable environment in three vital areas that represent the challenge paths: energy, entertainment, and transportation, where the team was crowned in the center The first is about the transportation path of the “Barq" project, which is based on the automated drone system for delivery services, which is based on a decentralized algorithm for distributing tasks.
The team made up of university students are: Al-Reem Al-Mukhraj, a master's student in computer science at the university and a bachelor's graduate from it.
