Imam Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University announced the launch of its strategic plan 2021-2025, after developing its vision and mission to adapt to the aspirations of the good leadership and Saudi vision 2030.
This strategy seeks to provide outstanding academic programs and the production of qualitative research, through a stimulating environment, computerized management systems, advanced technology, sustainable resources and effective partnerships, in order to achieve competitive outcomes that meet the needs of the labor market, and contribute to building the national knowledge economy and community service. The university based its strategic plan on six main themes:
1- Teaching, learning and defamation.
2- Research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
3- Partnerships and community responsibility.
4- Institutional excellence.
5- Financial sustainability.
6. National awareness.
The university's (new) objectives were formulated in accordance with the ambitious strategic vision, to emerge from these objectives, several qualitative initiatives that will move the university - God willing - towards competitiveness and local and international excellence in education, research and innovation, financial sustainability, excellence in institutional performance, governance of procedures, strengthening the moderate national personality, suppressing extremism and partisanship, and this plan was based on achieving a number of priorities through excellence initiatives based on strengths, opportunities and possibilities;
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bin Salem Al Ameri (Chairman of the High Committee of the Strategic Plan Committee of the University) stressed that the objectives of the plan are: to create competitive educational outcomes qualified knowledge and laboratories that meet the needs of the labor market, scientific research that contributes to knowledge progress and meet the needs of national development, innovative and pioneering outputs that contribute to the knowledge economy, achieve sustainable development, build partnerships and active community and national contributions, enter into distinct global partnerships and have an effective impact, achieve excellence Founders achieve efficient spending and effective performance, creating sustainable financial resources and high spending efficiency for the university through diversification of investments and self-revenues, building companies and establishing university endowments.
His Excellency noted that Imam University was able to build its strategic plan and ambitious future initiatives in the hands of its children with competencies, expertise and administrative and educational staff at the university, where it formed many committees, including supervisory committees and working ones, as well as formed a team of strategic plan to conduct field analysis studies of the external and internal environment, reference comparisons, and work on a number of meetings with leaders and academic and administrative staff and students, as well as with beneficiaries outside the university and in particular Partners from government institutions and employers in the private sector.
His Excellency the President of the University showed the use of the methodology "Pfeiffer" to build elements of the strategic plan, apply the model "SWOT" for environmental analysis, and then divide the work into three stages including: planning the plan, analysis and construction, supporting the implementation of the plan, and was aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the objectives of the Ministry of Education in the field of higher education, and analysis of a number of references, reports and global trends such as: UNESCO Plan 2030, McKenzie's study of future institutions, international university classification organizations, international trends in education, recommendations of the National Center for Evaluation (NCAAA), the university's previous strategic plan, and the evaluation of university outputs in previous years, and several reference comparisons with distinguished universities and their strategic plans at the national and international level.
His Excellency pointed out that the University - through this plan and strategic vision - will move to a new stage that meets the aspirations of the guardians of this blessed country, and contributes to the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030, as it meets the aspirations of its employees through progress and institutional excellence, transparency and strengthening moderation and moderation, building personality and promoting belonging and patriotism. 1. The University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs implements a number of training courses and lectures for university employees.
The University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs, has implemented a number of training courses and educational lectures targeting university employees. * The Deanship, in cooperation with the Saudi Digital Library, implemented a training course for the (ASKZAD) base, (how to use and search in the ASKZAD base), for university employees, on Monday, 24/7/1442 AH, at 4:00 pm via the ZOOM platform.
* The Deanship carried out a lecture entitled (Reading: Introductions and Principles) presented by Dr. Iman bint Abdullah Al-Amoudi to the university's female employees, on Wednesday, corresponding to 7/26/1442 AH, at seven in the evening via the ZOOM platform.
* The Deanship carried out a lecture entitled (Applications of Augmented Reality in Education), presented by Dr. Afnan Al-Ansari, to university employees, on Thursday 27/7/1442 AH at 4:00 pm via the ZOOM platform.
Her Excellency the Dean of Library Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maha bint Dakhil Allah Al-Khathami, explained that the Deanship of Library Affairs works with each beginning of the academic year to implement a number of initiatives represented in implementing training courses and holding awareness lectures through which the Deanship seeks to raise the information awareness of the beneficiary, as well as Introducing the services of the Deanship in the university's libraries to all beneficiaries and researchers, as the Deanship attracts distinguished and qualified trainers and lecturers in terms of scientific and practical experience in order to achieve the desired benefit from the implementation of these programs.

3. Memorandum of Cooperation between Al-Imam University and the Center of Excellence for Autism.
His Excellency the President of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (for development) and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Autism Excellence Center, Mr. Majid bin Abdul Rahim Al-Ghanimi, on Wednesday 24/4/1442 AH; It aims to build a distinguished relationship between the University's Department of Special Education and the Center of Excellence for Autism. It reflects its positive effects on the field of scientific research, field training and various developmental aspects, and contributes to developing the field of autism spectrum disorder and enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Nashwan, and the college’s deputies, as well as the presence of the Chief Operating Officer of the Autism Center of Excellence, Dr. Faisal Al-Nimri, and the center’s leaders.
4. Signing a memorandum of understanding for research, academic and medical cooperation between Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and Sultan bin Abdulaziz City for Humanitarian Services.
Proceeding from the university’s vision and mission towards leadership in community partnership and in keeping with its new strategic plans, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, represented by the College of Medicine, signed today Thursday 14/2/1442 AH corresponding to 10/1/2020 AD, a memorandum of understanding for research, academic and medical cooperation between it and Sultan City. 5. A memorandum of cooperation between the College of Social Sciences and the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh.
The Dean of the College of Social Sciences at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Dr. Zuhair bin Abdullah Al-Shehri, on Thursday 22/1/1442 AH, at the headquarters of the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Riyadh region, a memorandum of cooperation with the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh, Dr. Muhammad Al-Harbi, in the field of social and psychological services.

6. Memorandum of Cooperation between Imam University and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
His Excellency the President of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri, signed in his office on Thursday, January 22, 1442 AH, a memorandum of cooperation with His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Uthaymeen; To benefit from the university's research, scientific and media cadres and expertise and to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.
The memorandum aims to coordinate on scholarships for the benefit of students of the member states of the organization, in order to build their capabilities and spread the message of true moderate Islam based on solidarity and tolerance, rejecting extremism, extremism, violence and terrorism, and cooperating with the Voice of Wisdom Center of the Secretariat as one of the channels of the organization that works to combat deviant thought extremism and Islamophobia, with the aim of refuting terrorism intellectually and practically with facts and figures.
