This award comes as part of the university's strategy 2020-2025, and to achieve institutional excellence.

The second branch is the Excellence in Education Award, which targets university members from faculty members and those in similar positions. The third branch is the Institutional Excellence Award, which targets the university's educational units and administrative units in the third level of the university's organizational structure or its equivalent. The fourth branch is the Administrative Excellence Award, which targets university members from administrative employees, who are all those who hold an administrative position in the university, regardless of the nature of their work or the name of their job.

 

The Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence, in the category of the best book written in scientific disciplines, was won by Dr. Hassan bin Ahmed Abdullah Radini. As for the category of the best book written in theoretical disciplines, the first place went to Dr. Hisham Muhammad Suleiman Al-Saeed, and the second place went to Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Muhammad Al-Khar'an.

 

Dr. Abdul Wahid Al-Khalil Al-Hassan Al-Khalil won first place in the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of Best Translated Book for Scientific Specializations, while second place went to Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Nasser Al-Daghri. Dr. Ismail Bashir Ali Al-Jabali won first place in the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of Best Translated Book for Scientific Specializations, while Dr. Abdulaziz Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Suhaimi and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamoud Al-Hathloul won the category of Best Translated Book for Theoretical Specializations, while Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan came in first place in the same category.

 

Dr. Magdy El-Sayed Abdel Salam Zaki won the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence, in the category of the Abundance of Research Production Award in Scientific Specializations. Dr. Sami Abdel Aziz Suleiman Al-Hussein came in second place, while Dr. Abdul Qader Jilani Sudafar came in third place.

 

The Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of the Abundance of Research Production Award in Theoretical Specializations was won by Dr. Nader Ahmed Al-Naifer, while Dr. Asmaa Mansour Abdullah Al-Mushrif came in second place, and Dr. Saeed Turki Saeed Al-Shahrani won third place. As for the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of the Quality of Research Production Award in Scientific Specializations, it was won by Dr. Arafat Ahmed Toghan Ahmed, while Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Qawi Abdul-Halim Muhammad came in second place, and Dr. Kamal Abdul-Jawad Idris Barada came in third place.

As for the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence, in the category of the Research Excellence Award for Postgraduate Students in Theoretical Specializations, Dr. Sarah Hamoud Abdulaziz Al-Muzaini won first place, and Dr. Imad bin Muhammad Abdulrahman Al-Mudaifer won second place in the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of the Research Excellence Award for Postgraduate Students in Theoretical Specializations.

 

Dr. Abeer Saad Ibrahim Al-Shadi won the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of the Research Excellence Award for Postgraduate Students in Scientific Specializations, while Dr. Hadeel Abdullah Muhammad Al-Kathiri came in second place. Dr. Khaled Obaid Dathan Al-Harbi won the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Award for Research Excellence in the category of the Research Excellence Award for Postgraduate Students for Scholarship Students in Theoretical Specializations, while Dr. Arej Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Hamdan came in second place.

Ms. Maznah bint Nasser Aba Al-Khail won first place in the category of supervisory leadership in the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University Award for Administrative Excellence. Dr. Taiba bint Abdulrahman Al-Zunaidi came in second place, and Mr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Subaie came in third place. As for the category of second-line leadership, the award went to Mr. Saad bin Ali Fahd Al-Muqbil, and in second place was Ms. Noura bint Abdul Aziz bin Rashid, and in third place was Ms. Dalia bint Abdul Aziz Al-Harbi.

          His Excellency the President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, honored this morning, Monday 11/26/1445 AH, the male and female students participating in the 49th Geneva Exhibition and the Imam University Innovation Competition, in the presence of the University Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Nayef bin Muhammad Al-Otaibi, the deans of colleges and deanships, and the head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.

 The College of Medicine participated with the invention of "AutiScan", which is concerned with examining the autism spectrum in children, through the eye using a virtual reality device and a built-in camera to examine the fundus of the eye, by faculty member Dr. Sarah Al-Muzaidi, and students: Aroub Al-Rumaih, Reem Bin Shalhoub, Renad Al-Duhaim, Lujain Al-Mutairi. The College of Engineering also participated with the invention of the "Developed Pen for Measuring Blood Sugar Level", consisting of three interconnected parts, by the student: Ahmed Al-Ruqi. The members of the Mubtakir Program at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center participated: Saeeda Al-Maliki with the invention of the "Yaqeen Mattress", the smart mattress. And Dawlat Al-Sulaiman with the invention of "Smart Chemical Regulation of Temperatu (SCRT), by creating a medical technology that provides a proactive solution to reduce the temperature of children during sleep.           Four female students from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University won awards at the Fourth Cultural and Scientific Forum for Female Students of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was hosted by Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman during the period from January 6 to 9, 2024, with the participation of 16 universities from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

First-Ever Women Law Diploma Degree Launched by Al-Imam

The launched higher diploma, which was received its approval from Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, is accrediting by Saudi Ministry of Civil Service. It requires a bachelor degree in law or Sharia and will be lasting for fully two years.

During the launch of the activities of the second day of the conference, His Excellency the President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Enas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, confirmed that empowerment has been largely achieved in Saudi universities, reviewing some important indicators for empowering Saudi women in universities, pointing out that the total number of Saudi female faculty members reached 33,000, constituting about 44% of the total faculty members, 37% of whom hold a doctorate degree, while 1,300 hold senior leadership positions in universities, at a time when the percentage of Saudi women on scholarships to complete graduate studies is about 43%.

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, to the local community.
